so a friend today asked me what his deal is and i honestly don't know.
i saw someone post about his accusations that the doj is investigating watchtower and people seemed down on the guy, as well has johnny the bethelite or whatever his name is that claims to leak stuff.
i don't know rick fearon, don't watch his show, but his site just seems a little crazy, and he seems to get into occult conspiracies and the jws, which never lends credibility.. so for those of you who have been around a while, what's the deal?

there are alot of posts about the king of the north announcements.
this is all hocus pokus bull shit.
it's not about king of the north.
You could talk about go bags and divert their attention away from the child sex abuse problem.
Cognitive dissonance.
did it ever happen in your congregation?.
it did in one of mine a decade ago.
not only were funds on hand in the congregation account used but repeated announcements were made to contribute towards the medical treatments for an elder’s wife who was battling breast cancer.
Looking back at the time, I just went along with it. I felt bad for the “sweet sister” dying. I had no idea the politics going on behind the scenes until a year later when 5 elders moved out. 3 of them left the org all together. Even then I didn’t put it together that them leaving had anything to do with the accounts until I ran into one of them years later and he told me about it.
I wonder, how much cagey stuff goes on in the “elders club” that us idiots had/have no clue about. Also, when it is exposed, shouldn’t that entire congregation be shuffled and another BoEs installed?
wonder what the nielsen ratings will be for this.. will watchtower do the same?
can you imagine jw.borg on your cable tv?
i wonder if this is a direct response to the damage leah remini has dealt to the psuedoscientists?

We have work to do.

Well he definitely has one fan downvoting the naysayers.
so when we used to roll up to someones house for the book study group, we would study a book.
the jw's don't conduct bible studies, but book studies.
dipping in and out of the bible as they seem fit..
Isn’t it true at various times that the WT discouraged meeting together just to read the Bible? They asserted you had to use the “helpers” to understand correctly. If you only used the Bible you would be opened up to misunderstandings and apostasy?
It seems like I recall something in CoC about this.

It created a divide not only in the rank and file but also among the elder body. It was a stepping off point for several families.
The argument made was, why should one person benefit from congregation funds for an emergency when nobody else can or has?
It was a good one. Many families were struggling severely and some with health issues. They did not receive the same favor or outreach.
Was this bending the accounting rules? Or were they more relaxed then? Anybody else ever see something similar happen with congregation funds?

Personally I miss JWStruggle. I hope he is doing well.
There seems to be a consensus on Six Screens but I just wonder.
Sure a lot of would be JW defectors may be scared straight after a journey down the rabbit hole, but I wonder. Did that rainbow of a website and the “sensationalism” lead some out the door? Even if one JW saw the madness and felt a kindered spirit in Johnny the PsuedoBethelite, wouldn’t that be worth it?
Na. I think it is still an in out equation. Scare 100 off to gain one? Sometimes silence is golden.
ps: if you haven’t seen JWStruggles aposatacy trials where he records his judicial committee hearings, DO IT. (;

The third time the Revelation book was studied I refused to go to the book study which set up a string of requests to meet with me for a “shepherding call”. I received the typical “repetition for emphasis” and “Nu-Lite” rhetoric. I wasn’t having it. My argument was simply, “it is a complete waste of time”.
Like my entire journey as a JW.

Here is a Rick Fearon style theory.
Rick has actually been planted and is funded by the Watchtower to give credence to their claims that apostates are liars. His agenda is to make preposterous claims against Watchtower that are demonstrably false so that JWs can point to it and say, “see! Mentally diseased apostates!”
He is the Alex Jones of ExJWs.
